Your Brumby comes with a 12-month guarantee. Going by our vision, we are bound to uphold your trust and under the Australia Consumer Law. You will be entitled to a refund, compensation, or like-for-like replacement in the event of a major failure or any other foreseeable damage or loss.

Furthermore, we are bound to repair and replace any goods that fail to be deemed as acceptable in quality and function and if a certain failure does not qualify as a major failure.

Validity Terms

Only the original purchaser of the Brumby or item in question is eligible for warranty claims. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase and expires after exactly 12 months, except for failures related to the structural integrity of the chassis and draw-bar, for which an operational lifetime warranty applies.

This Warranty can be claimed only for items that were sold as “new”. Items classified as “factory seconds”, “ex-demonstration” or “damaged” at the time of purchasing are not eligible for claims.

The Warranty, which is an agreement between the original purchaser and Brumby Camper Trailers, is not transferable under any circumstances.

The Warranty is immediately terminated if an item is sold to another party. Furthermore, the original purchases can not make claims at the behest or on behalf of the new owner.

Our Warranty does not apply if a Camper Trailer or any related product has been hired or rented to another party.

Damages caused by unauthorised modifications, abuse, misuse, poor assembly, irregular or improper maintenance, collisions, or accidents are not covered by this Warranty.

The purchaser must service and maintain the camper trailer according to the frequency prescribed in the product manual and only operate the camper trailer in environments and surfaces the product was designed for to be eligible for warranty claims.

This Warranty is applicable only if the camper trailer in question is used as a holiday home. If it is used for primary housing purposes, the purchaser is ineligible for warranty claims.

This Warranty does not cover damages caused by overloading the camper trailer or by failing to distribute a load evenly across the caravan.

Remedial actions for warranty claims approved by Brumby Camper Trailers must be carried out by a person approved, in writing, by us. Brumby Camper Trailers can not be held responsible for costs of work carried out by unapproved third parties.

Only Brumby Camper Trailers has the authority to approve or deny a warranty claim. Approvals by affiliates, associates, representatives, suppliers, resellers, or agents are considered null and void.

Brumby Camper Trailers is not liable for any warranties, either implied or expressed, by resellers or agents unless Brumby Camper Trailers has bound itself via a written agreement. Furthermore, any such liability is strictly limited to the contents of the said written agreement.

Limitations of Liability and Remedies

The appropriate remedial actions for each approved claim will be reasonably decided by Brumby Camper Trailers between repairs with a chosen repairer of our choosing, replacement, or a refund.

The purchaser may be entitled to a refund for a warranty claim due to major failure or if Brumby Camper Trailer can not provide a remedy in a timely manner.

The purchaser may not be entitled to a refund if the damage is deemed to be caused by normal wear and tear or a defect not contributed by the actions or negligence by Brumby Camper Trailers.

The purchaser agrees that Brumby Camper Trailers cannot be held liable for special or consequential damages of all kinds including damages that are punitive, aggravated, or exemplary in nature.

Items Not Covered Under Our Warranty

Our Warranty does not cover damages to camper trailers or parts such as paint, wheels and tyres, travel covers and straps, zips, meshes, or screens, general consumables such as light bulbs and bearings, and damages caused by rust.

Although the above-mentioned items are not covered under this warranty, other warranties the purchaser has for the product may cover them.

Warranty for tents has the same conditions and limitations as the camper trailer and its parts. The 12-month warranty applies to tents, canvas components, fittings, and poles.
